The Story of Engiworks

Felix Rivera, a visionary engineer with a spark of determination, didn’t just dream of building machines. He dreamed of building a place where ideas could come alive. A place where curiosity, precision, and heart could come together to solve problems and uplift others.

In 2000, working from a humble office on Avenida Degetau with only a dial-up connection and a few pieces of essential software, Felix planted the seed for what would become Engiworks. The company first bore the name Autoware, but as people kept asking about car parts, Felix made the courageous decision to rebrand, eventually settling on a name that truly captured its mission and spirit:

From the start, he wasn’t chasing titles or recognition, he simply wanted to help. Whether it was turning a sketch into a prototype, restoring a broken machine part, or finding a smarter way to make things, Felix was always focused on creating solutions that mattered.

What began as a solo effort quickly sparked something bigger.

Felix’s passion became contagious. One by one, clients began to believe in the Engiworks way, and before long, a team of like-minded problem-solvers came together. Engineers, designers, and dreamers, each one bringing their own skill and spirit to the table. 

Working in a modest shop with a single CNC mill and lathe, they tackled challenges that many others wouldn’t touch. One of their earliest successes came when they reverse engineered a discontinued mechanical part, rescuing a client’s entire operation from coming to a halt. Moments like that became the heartbeat of Engiworks, proof that engineering, at its core, is about people.

A Vision That Grew

As word spread and projects grew, so did the mission. No longer just a shop — Engiworks became a center for innovation, a launchpad for ideas, and a training ground for future creators.

And so did our team.

We introduced our four pillars: 

• EngiCAD: Equipping creators with cutting-edge tools for design, simulation, and 3D printing.

• EngiParts:  Manufacturing precision parts quickly and reliably.

• EngiIdeas: Designing and automating smarter systems for a changing world.

• EngiEDU: Passing the torch through education, mentorship, and inspiration.

Because we believe in the power of the next generation, we haved offered:

EngiSummer: a place where young minds explore SOLIDWORKS, robotics, 3D printing, and entrepreneurship. Discovering their potential while having fun.

Pre-Engi: a deeper dive into real-world tech, teaching programming, electronics, graphic design, and web development to students ready to dream bigger.

These programs weren’t just about skills. They’re about Confidence. Community. Possibility.
